GTA 6 SOUNDTRACK RELEASE DATE: THE ALBUM VS JUSTICE SCORE

The GTA 6 soundtrack comes out in two parts. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album has 34 original tracks and comes out on 19 November 2026, the same day as the game. Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score by Justice comes out on 11 December 2026 on vinyl, CD and streaming services. The in-game radio stations are a third, separate set of music.

When does the GTA 6 soundtrack come out?

Rockstar Games announced two different albums. Each album has its own release date, label and track count. Many news pages give only one of the two dates. This table puts both releases side by side.

The game itself launches on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-loads begin on 12 November. Thus The Album arrives on launch day, and the score arrives about three weeks later.

What is the difference between GTA 6: The Album and the Justice score?

The Album is a collection of new songs by many artists. Rockstar calls it "the upcoming official soundtrack album created in partnership with Atlantic Records". Rockstar also says that you can pre-save it on all major music streaming services. Consequence reports that The Album has 34 original tracks. Its artists include Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, PinkPantheress and Yung Lean.

The Original Score is the music that Justice wrote for the game. Rockstar says that the score is "composed by Grammy Award winners Justice, the renowned French duo of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay." VGC reports that the score will mainly consist of instrumental tracks. The 30 tracks come from the full set of music that Justice composed for the game.

Rockstar named Justice as the score composer on 15 October 2026, the day of the GTA 6 launch trailer. Rockstar then announced the score release date on 29 October 2026.

Which GTA 6 soundtrack songs can you play now?

At least ten singles are out on streaming services. Eight singles come from The Album, and two come from the Justice score.

The Album has 34 tracks, so 26 tracks are not out yet as singles. Consequence reports that Rockstar will reveal the remaining tracks at a later date. GameSpot reports that the rest of The Album comes out with the game on 19 November.

Are the GTA 6 Album songs the same as the radio songs?

No source that we found says that The Album is the full radio playlist. The radio is a separate set of music.

Rockstar revealed the first six GTA 6 radio stations on 8 October 2026. Forbes reports 18 songs so far, three on each station. The six stations are Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics. You can listen to them in a vehicle, or on foot through the phone with earbuds.

The radio songs are mostly older, released songs. PC Guide lists Slayer's "Raining Blood" from 1986 on The Chamber 106.6. It also lists a 1967 Loretta Lynn song on Back Country Radio. The Album songs are new tracks that the artists recorded for the game.

Some names are on both sides. Morgan Wallen hosts Back Country Radio as "MW", and his song "Last Thing You Need" is on The Album. Bad Bunny hosts Cocoteo FM as "El Martillo".

Is there a GTA 6 soundtrack vinyl or CD?

Yes. Both albums have vinyl and CD editions.

• The Album: Consequence reports pre-orders in several vinyl and CD editions. Wikipedia reports that a limited-edition vinyl with liquid-filled discs sold out almost immediately.
• The Original Score: VGC lists a two-disc CD, a three-LP vinyl, and a limited three-LP vinyl with crystal clear records.

The game itself does not come on a physical disc at launch. The retail box holds a code. Thus the two albums are the only discs for GTA 6 at launch.
