GTA Online has every radio station from GTA 5, plus stations that Rockstar added in later updates. After launch, Rockstar added eight stations: The Lab, blonded Los Santos 97.8 FM, Los Santos Underground Radio, iFruit Radio, Kult FM 99.1, Still Slipping Los Santos, Music Locker Radio and MOTOMAMI Los Santos. The table below gives the update, the date, the hosts and a source for each station.
Which radio stations did GTA Online add after launch?
Each update below added one or more stations to the radio wheel. Where possible, the source is a Rockstar Newswire post or a Rockstar press release.

Some notes on the table:
- GTA BASE calls blonded the first new station since The Lab in 2015. Rockstar describes blonded as an "eclectic mix of savory soul, hip-hop and deep cuts".
- Rockstar says that iFruit Radio has 27 tracks. The station came to GTA Online and to GTA 5 Story Mode on the same day.
- Rockstar said that Music Locker Radio would start later in December 2020, after the other two Cayo Perico stations.
- The Cayo Perico Heist also gave new songs to Worldwide FM and FlyLo FM. Rockstar counts more than 250 new tracks in that update.
How many radio stations are in GTA Online?
GTA Online has 25 broadcast stations, by our count. Newsweek reported that iFruit Radio was the 21st station on the radio dial. The Cayo Perico Heist then added three stations, and The Contract added one. That gives 25.
Two of the 25 are talk stations, and each one plays in one county only. Blaine County Radio plays in Blaine County, and WCTR plays in Los Santos County. If you drive out of the county, the radio goes to the next station on the wheel. So 24 stations can play at one time in one place.

Are the GTA Online radio stations in GTA 5 Story Mode?
Some of them are. The answer is different for each station:
- blonded Los Santos 97.8 FM: Yes. Rockstar added it to GTA 5 at the same time as GTA Online.
- Los Santos Underground Radio: Yes, but later. It started in GTA Online only. The Arena War update put it into Story Mode on 11 December 2018.
- iFruit Radio: Yes. Rockstar released it for both modes on 12 December 2019.
- Kult FM, Still Slipping Los Santos, Music Locker Radio and MOTOMAMI Los Santos: The Rockstar announcements for these stations name GTA Online only.
All the stations from the GTA 5 launch are also in GTA Online. That includes Non-Stop-Pop FM, the pop station that DJ Cara hosts.
How is GTA Online radio different from Story Mode radio?
The stations are the same, but they do not work the same way. The GTA Wiki lists these differences:
- GTA Online does not sync a station between sessions. Two players in two cars can hear two different songs on the same station.
- When you get into the car of another player, you hear the same station as that player.
- GTA Online radio has no Weazel News reports, because those reports belong to the Story Mode plot.
- No radio station plays on the island of Cayo Perico.
- At first, Still Slipping Los Santos played only in Mirror Park. The GTA Wiki says that this limit ended later.
The Los Santos Tuners update added a "Favorite Radio Stations" option to the Interaction Menu. When you mark your favorite stations, only those stations show on the radio wheel.
Did GTA Online update the old radio stations too?
Yes. Some updates added songs to stations that were already in the game:
- The Cayo Perico Heist added new mixes to Worldwide FM, from Gilles Peterson, and to FlyLo FM, from Flying Lotus.
- The Contract added MOTOMAMI Los Santos and made large changes to Radio Los Santos and West Coast Classics. Rockstar Intel, with the tracklists from Kotaku, counts about 77 new songs across these three stations.
- I-Wagen Week added more songs to Radio Los Santos, the GTA Wiki says.
Updates can also take songs out. In September 2026, a GTA 5 update removed "The Time Is Now" by Moloko, TheGamer reports. TheGamer calls it the first song that a GTA 5 update removed.
Is there a new GTA Online radio station in 2026?
Not that we found. MOTOMAMI Los Santos from The Contract in December 2021 is the last new station on the list of stations at the GTA Wiki. In December 2021, Sportskeeda also called MOTOMAMI the latest station. The GTA Wiki lists later song changes, such as I-Wagen Week, but it lists no new station after MOTOMAMI.

Who hosts the GTA Online radio stations?

Do you want to hear DJ Cara say your own line on Non-Stop-Pop FM? Use the GTA Radio Voice Generator. The voice is an AI recreation of the radio character, not Cara Delevingne, and Rockstar Games has nothing to do with it.
