DJ Cara is the host of Non-Stop-Pop FM, the pop and dance radio station in Grand Theft Auto V. The British model and actress Cara Delevingne voices her, and she plays a version of herself. GTA 5 and GTA V are the same game.
Is DJ Cara a real person?
The DJ is a character. The person is real.
Rockstar cast Cara Delevingne as herself, in the same way it cast the fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld as the host of K109 The Studio in GTA IV. The woman you hear is Cara Delevingne. The radio show she hosts is fiction, and so is the city she broadcasts from.
On air she never mentions modelling or acting. She says radio is her job:
"This is Non Stop Pop, dishing out some incredible music for you. I'm like everyone else in this town who moved out here hoping to be an actor or in a band. Some work in catering, others valet parking. And me? Radio!"

Cara Jocelyn Delevingne. She was born on 12 August 1992 in London, England. She was 21 years old when GTA 5 came out on 17 September 2013.

What station does she host?
Non-Stop-Pop FM, at 100.7 on the dial in Los Santos. The station plays pop, dance and R&B, and its own slogan is "Pop hits from the 80s, 90s, Naughties and today."
The playlist holds 42 tracks. It runs from Hall & Oates and Wham! in the early 1980s to Lorde and Lady Gaga in 2013. The track most people remember from the station is Modjo's "Lady (Hear Me Tonight)", and Cara introduces it like this:
"Alright, this is Modjo with Lady, A classic house track from 2000, pop fans. Enjoy."
In September 2026 an update to GTA 5 Enhanced removed one song from the station, Moloko's "The Time Is Now". Rockstar gave no reason. A licence for game music usually runs about ten years, and the game is now 13 years old.
What is she like on air?
She is loud, fast and happy, and she wants you to dance. She tells listeners to drink water. She plays the game Righteous Slaughter 7 during the commercial breaks. She complains about Los Santos, about social media, and about people who are too cool for pop music.
